Prep Insect Repellent Spray is a ready-to-use DEET-based insect repellent aerosol that is effective even after a single application. It contains denatonium benzoate, a very bitter substance that helps prevent accidental ingestion of the product by children. Prep Insect Repellent Spray protects against mosquito bites of various species, including the tiger mosquito, both during the day, until dusk, and at night. Prep Insect Repellent Spray remains effective against mosquitoes for eight hours after application. The product is suitable for use in areas infested by the tropical mosquito (Anopheles gambiae), where its protection lasts for five hours. Prep Insect Repellent Spray is highly effective against black flies, the black flies that attack mammals in rural areas. Prep Insect Repellent Spray is therefore particularly suitable for areas infested with black flies, such as riding stables, farms, campsites, and rural areas, where its protection generally lasts more than 5 hours. Prep Insect Repellent Spray is also effective against ticks, allowing treated areas to be protected for three hours. Its use is therefore recommended if you frequent infested areas such as wooded areas, meadows, agricultural areas, and rural areas in general. It is useful in MTV areas (to control the spread of Vector-Borne Diseases).
How to use
Instructions for use and dosage: Shake the container well before use. Spray evenly on legs and arms from a distance of about 15-20 cm, avoiding contact with the face, wounds, and mucous membranes. For applications on the face and neck, spray a small amount of product into the palm of your hand and spread it, avoiding contact with the eyes and mouth. Do not repeat the treatment more than twice a day. In adults, do not repeat the treatment more than twice a day.
Warnings
WARNINGS: May cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals. Avoid contact with eyes; in case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Use with caution on delicate skin, especially in children over 3 years old; treatments should be performed at intervals. Do not use on abraded skin or wounds. Do not overuse. Avoid directly inhaling the spray or spraying it in the eyes. The product must be used on children under 12 years of age under the supervision of an adult and should not exceed two applications in 24 hours. Do not spray on children's hands. Do not use on children under 3 years of age and use mechanical barriers (mosquito nets). Do not contaminate food, drinks, or containers intended to contain them during use. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Pressurized container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep away from any source of ignition. DO NOT SELL LOOSE. DO NOT DISPOSE OF EMPTY CONTAINER IN THE ENVIRONMENT. DANGER: Highly flammable liquid and vapor. Pressurized container: may burst if heated. Keep out of reach of children.
