How to use
Warnings for use: Before first use, disassemble the product into its individual parts, wash it and place it in boiling water for 5 minutes. This ensures hygiene. Before each subsequent use, wash carefully to ensure hygiene. Sterilize if necessary. Store in a clean, dry place. Use NUK detergent or a mild dishwashing liquid to clean, removing food residues even from hard-to-reach areas. If necessary, soak the bottle; under no circumstances should the inside of the bottle be scratched. Rinse thoroughly. Teats and bottles should not be washed in the dishwasher: dishwasher detergent can damage the material! Some foods can stain (e.g., carrot juice) or impregnate with odors (e.g., fennel tea); this does not affect their suitability for use. If the bottle is damaged internally (e.g., scratches), it should be replaced for hygiene reasons. When boiling or steam sterilizing, the bottle should always be disassembled into its individual parts and left open to avoid deformation. For steam sterilization, we recommend the NUK Steam Sterilizer or the NUK Microwave Steamer. To avoid damaging the material, always follow the instructions for use of the steamer. When disinfecting plastic bottles, do not exceed the maximum permitted temperature of 100°C (indicated on the bottle)! Heat-sensitive colors react to moist heat and descaling agents. They tend to fade over time with frequent steam sterilization or washing. For nipples: before each use, check the nipple and pull it in all directions. Discard it at the first sign of damage or failure. Before each use, check the ventilation valve and drinking opening for patency by opening them slightly. Do not immerse in medicines! Do not expose the nipple or bottle to direct sunlight or heat, and do not leave them in disinfectant (sterilizing solution) for longer than recommended, as this will reduce the nipple's strength or damage the material. For hygiene and safety reasons, replace the nipple every 1-2 months. Replace the bottle at the slightest sign of damage, such as cracks. Bottles must always be opened when heating (risk of explosion) or cooling (deformation)! When heating in a microwave oven, please be especially careful: localized overheating may occur. Always turn heated food over and check the temperature before serving. Keep the product information and item code/batch number for future reference.
